Our Story: The Heart Behind Mommy & Me x3

For years, I poured myself into my business, balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with motherhood. I was there for my daughter, Kennedy, at every recital, school play and milestone. But even as I sat in the audience, I often felt the weight of work on my mind, clouding those precious moments. One day, I realized that though I was physically present, I wasn’t fully there with her. I looked at her, growing up so quickly, and felt an ache knowing that so many memories felt like a fog. In that moment, I resolved to nurture our relationship more intentionally—to create memories filled with presence, love and laughter, memories that we’d both carry in our hearts forever. Kennedy was excited when I shared my idea of setting aside dedicated, intentional time just for us, and we couldn’t wait to begin our special journey together.

Then, life took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn. My sister, my best friend, and one of the most devoted mothers I knew, suddenly passed away at 43, leaving behind her two precious daughters, Winter and London. Overnight, we became a family of five, with three incredible girls to love, support and guide. In a time of deep loss, we found a new kind of love—a love that could mend hearts and bring a new sense of purpose to our lives together.

I knew I wanted each of my girls to feel uniquely seen, loved and connected to me, and I knew that the special time I’d planned with Kennedy needed to be extended to include Winter and London as well. But I wanted each girl to have her own special mommy-and-me time—a time for just the two of us, so each of their unique hearts, dreams and personalities could flourish and be celebrated. That’s when the idea of The Mommy & Me Connection: A Heartfelt Journal for Moms & Daughters blossomed—a way to help me—and other mothers—spend intentional, meaningful time with our daughters, deepening our connections one memory at a time. When I shared the journal idea with my three girls, they lit up with excitement and wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to bring it to life together.

And that’s how Mommy & Me x 3 was born—a business and a bond inspired by love, strengthened through loss and dedicated to cherishing every precious moment we share. Our journal is for every mother and daughter who wants to turn ordinary days into unforgettable memories and deepen their connection in a way that transcends words.
